Dr. Republica Sridhar

In a dedicated effort to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the less fortunate, RMD Trust, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Republica Sridhar, extends its mission to reach and support more needy patients across all segments of society. With a proud track record, RMD has positively impacted the lives of over 54,000 beneficiaries. Recognized as a prominent provider, the trust specializes in delivering pain and palliative hospice services to terminally ill individuals in Tamil Nadu. The vision encompasses providing personalized care through a range of services, including outpatient, inpatient, home-based, and hospital care. Dr. Republica Sridhar, a dedicated Family and Palliative Care Physician, graduated from Sri Ramachandra University in 1992. With over 30 years of experience, she stands as the Medical Director and Founder of RMD Nursing Home, a 25-bed hospital situated in T.Nagar, Chennai. Driven by an innate desire to impact human lives and address societal needs, she pursued specialized training in palliative care at AIMS in 2005 (Kochi) and Flinders University in Australia from 2010-2011. Additionally, she completed a hospital management course at Sankara Netralaya (Chennai). Over the past decade, Dr. Sridhar has been actively involved in palliative care, overseeing medical care and administration for 50 beds across two locations in Chennai and Sriperumbudur.
